Tick-Tock...KZA’s Annual Labor & Employment Seminar is Fast Approaching

Volume 2, Issue 8
July 3, 2003

Please make arrangements to join us for Kamer Zucker & Abbott's 6th Annual Labor and Employment Seminar to be held on Friday, October 17, 2003 at Caesars Palace. This year's program will educate you on the ten most frustrating leave of absence issues, wage and hour issues which every employer needs to know, workplace privacy, including the new HIPAA regulations, and strategies for effective discipline and discharge. In addition to these topics, we have brought back, by popular demand, our mock trial program. This year, however, we will be featuring a mock arbitration hearing. Arbitrator Gregory J. Kamer will preside over the proceedings in which a former female executive, fired for sexually harassing her male subordinate, challenges her termination by claiming age discrimination and retaliation. The arbitration's cast of characters will showcase many of our attorneys and support staff.

Although we will be mailing invitations by early August, it would be helpful for planning purposes to know how many individuals from your organization would like to attend this year's seminar. Please e-mail Laura Keller at lkeller@kzalaw.com to indicate the number of people you would like to attend, including their names, and we will try to accommodate everyone.
