FMLA ALERT: Update Your FMLA Poster

If an employer is subject to the FMLA, it is required to display a poster prepared by the Department of Labor ("DOL") summarizing the major provisions of the Act and telling employees how to file a complaint. The poster must be displayed in a conspicuous place where employees and applicants can see it.

In light of the recent amendment to the FMLA allowing additional types of leave for certain military-related issues, the DOL has issued an "insert" which all covered employers should immediately post.
