The recently-released November 2009 edition of Nevada Lawyer magazine, the official publication of the State Bar of Nevada, published an article by Ms. Zucker and Mr. Keller on special issues in internal company investigations, Quirks and Quagmires: Selected Issues Faced During Real-World Harassment Investigations.
This article covers a number of issues often arising in internal investigations, such as a request for employee counsel in interviews, dealing with complaints by former employees, and imposition of directives to interviewees for strict confidentiality of the investigation.
Additional information on internal investigations and other topics may be found at the Library section of KZA's website: www.kzalaw.com.
