Applicants should be in the top third of their class and possess strong analytical, research and writing skills.  A demonstrated interest in labor and employment law, evidenced by relevant work experience, internships and course work, is essential.  Journal and moot court experience are also strongly preferred.  Successful applicants must also possess initiative, motivation and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.

The recruitment process starts in September of each year and continues until the end of March.  To ensure proper consideration, applications should be received by the end of January.  All applicants are initially evaluated based on their resume, cover letter, transcripts and writing sample.  Thereafter, the Firm conducts telephone interviews with selected applicants.  Applicants may also be given the option of traveling to Las Vegas to visit the Firm and to meet its attorneys and staff.

Interested applicants should submit:

  1. A cover letter highlighting a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law;

  2. A resume with class rank clearly indicated (if an applicant’s class is estimated or the applicant’s school does not rank its students, the applicant must so state);

  3. A writing sample of at least 10 pages; and

  4. An official law school transcript.
