First, as we discussed earlier this week, Nevada's new Pregnant Workers' Fairness Act requires employers to immediately post a notice regarding the Act's protections that become effective October 1, 2017. KZA has developed an interim notice that may be used by employers until the Nevada Equal Rights Commission publishes an official model notice on its website. Second, the Nevada Legislature recently passed several other employment-related bills including a bill addressing breaks for nursing mothers. KZA is developing updates for you on each of these new laws. Stay tuned!
